Hand-feed the reindeer in their natural habitat, then come into the lavvu for traditional Sámi food, drink and stories around the fire. This is one four-hour visit, not two separate tours. You start outdoors with the herd — close enough to hand-feed them and take photos. Then we gather in the lavvu with Johnny Matis Sara for a meal and an introduction to Sámi culture, herding life and our traditions. About a 1.5-hour drive from Tromsø. Suitable for couples, families and groups of all sizes, including coach groups.
